A moment to go back in time to see the way Puertorriquens use to grow their crops and plants for local consumption. A farm that will show you so many types of plants, trees, fruits and vegetables. Locally grown in Puerto Rico. From plantain to bananas. From coffee to pineapple and so much more.
This Tour offers you places to see outside of the San Juan metropolitan area. Learn and see different things, drive to the beach, drive into the mountains, have lunch with the locals.

"We are in PR the week after Christmas and many of the more frequently done tours/adventures were already booked. I wound up finding Jerry’s Adventures online and, thankfully, they had space for us for their “Poor Man’s Paradise Cliff Jumping Tour.” Very shortly after booking, I received a welcoming text from their GM, Manuel, who offered to answer any questions we may have. Because we are staying in Rio Grande, not San Juan, where many of their visitors stay, we asked if we could meet them closer to the tour site. Manuel arranged for us to be picked up at a nearby mall, so that we wouldn’t have to drive as far, which was really convenient! On the trip, our guides were Jesus and Jerry himself. Both were so nice, warm, upbeat, knowledgeable, and fun. Upon arrival to the mountainside, we walked along a path to a beautiful natural pool being fed by a gorgeous, picture perfect waterfall! Some parts of path were challenging because it’s understandably muddy, but it was manageable and Jesus and Jerry made sure to give very good instructions and offer a hand if needed. This trip was beyond expectations. We had our own personal paradise. There were NO other tourists in the area. We were able to take our time, do multiple jumps off of the different height cliffs, and swim in the cold and refreshing water. After, we drove to a yummy BBQ place and enjoyed a wonderful meal. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy an off the beaten path adventure with fun and down-to-earth people. Excellent value for a personal, one-of-a-kind adventure! Tip your guides, they deserve it! :) "

The rainforest was approximately 40-60 min away. We passed the time quickly with games, comedy, history of the island and more! We had a group of 8! The ages ranged from 9 to 74! Manuel made it clear that this was our adventure and we could go at our own pace. He said we could spend as much time as we needed along the way. Manuel new the path well and was the leader of the pack. But also knew when the more difficult parts were coming and would drop back to help the ones who needed it. Manuel had a great sense of humor and was cracking jokes along the way. Our family loved him! When we reached our final destination we were all in awe! Not only because of the beauty of the waterfall but for the accomplishment of hiking this trail as a family! We couldn’t have done it without Manuel!"
– Mandy Gately on Google Reviews"It is NOT meant to be a beginner hike but this was my FIRST hike ever (21yoF) and I loved it ! There is alot of mud / slippery rocks but the tour guide Mr. Amazing Jesus helps you the whole way through. The prize waterfall at the end is ready and so is the local food :). Would love to come back with more family & friends and do it again if I ever come back to SJ PR. The guide also picked us up and dropped us back at the hotel."
– Esperanza Berlanga on Google Reviews"Rock hopping along the river, learning about the island’s rich history and ecosystem, I fell even more in love with the natural beauty of Puerto Rico. This tour was seamless: great communication, a high quality guide, perfect selections and timing of stops and stories, and an overall fun day in nature! The trail was not a strenuous hike, just some technical footing that challenged us to hop around, but our guide made it clear, safe and fun. This was such a special part of our trip to PR! Gracias to our guide Jesus, for the photos, great trail stories, and delicious lunch spot. Definitely going with Jerry’s again!"
